On August 2-6, 2023, the National Congress of Plant Biology was held in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. Domestic experts and scholars in related fields of botany and outstanding young scientists have gathered here. 

The conference was officially opened at 8 o 'clock on August 3. The conference aimed to achieve cross-integration and development of plant science，solve the core problem of seed industry, promote the transformation and application of plant scientific research results in agricultural production practice, and help the revitalization of seed industry through exchanges and cooperation between plant scientists, sharing the latest results and progress of plant biology researches.
